Zabbix 2.2.2 RC2, an enterprise-class open source distributed monitoring solution, released under the GPL (free of charge for both commercial and non-commercial use), is now out and ready for download.
The Zabbix monitoring solution has been separated into multiple branches, and the most recent iteration is the latest stable one, featuring quite a few changes.
According to the changelog, it’s now possible to switch users without proper credentials when using HTTP, the LDAP authentication has been fixed, and the admin user is now able to update media for other users.
Also, ICMP checks based on item interface are now synchronized, HOST.PORT macro support has been added to internal/trigger based notifications, and some translations have been updated.
